Brief Description:  Antennae / coax / cabin heat

I previously installed the xpnder antenna ahead of the rudder pedals, and was going to install the ADSB antenna under the passenger seat. I was concerned about needing line-of-sight from one antenna to the other, so I called uAvionix.

Their support person siad that the ADSB antenna really should be mounted orthogonally to the ground, but it was less important for the xpnder antenna. So I uninstalled the xpnder antenna and installed the ADSB antenna in the front location. I then drilled a hole and installed the xpnder antenna just forward of the hell hole.

I then decided to tackle a real bear of a job. I had run the coax for the top comm antenna, but one of the mount pads came undone (self stick). It's a real pain getting up in there to re-stick a new pad and remove the old. In doing so, I of course ripped the top horizontal cable pad, so had to drill an L angle and zip-tie the cable to that. I allowed space between the cable and the L angle. Finally was done with this task!

Lsstly, I dug out the parts for the cabin heat control cable and it's terminations. Drilled pilot holes in the bracket that attaches to the firewall, but was tired after 2.6 hrs so will tackle tomorrow.
