Brief Description: Drain / windshield trim / cabin heat
The project is at the point where, aside from installing surfaces etc., it's a lot of little stuff that needs to be finalized to finish other areas.
Pilot drilled the front windshield door frame mouldings. I then clamped to the cabin frame and cleco'd. Both sides.
I fabricated small L angles to be riveted to the cabin floor to allow the fuel drains to be safety-wired to the L angle. It would be bad if one fell out during flight!
Drilled the 1.75" hole in the firewall for the cabin heat ducting, controlled by a valve. Pilot drilled holes in one of the flanges, then matched that with the valve half and match-drilled them. Then took the flange to the firewall and drilled rivet holes.
Dug out the throttle & mixture cables to obtain max diameters of them for additional holes in the firewall.
