Brief Description: Add nutplates to rack & EIS, then work other panel
Added nutplates (#8) to both side L-angles on the main avionics rack.
Added 4 nutplates (#6) to the four corners of the EIS box. I decided to add a stiffener across the top of it as I noticed the other day that the upper panel segment was bowed-in a bit. Found a piece of .032 stock and trimmed it so it had two "ears" on either end, with material removed in the middle to leave the hole in the panel open for the EIS. Each "ear" runs down either side of the EIS in order to be included in the rivets for the nutplates.
Lastly, I spent some time re-thinking the left side of my panel. I want to have flight-critical stuff around the throttle - trim switch & trim indicator, flap switch, and fuel pump switch. Had to place panel back in the fuselage to check for interference between my hand and the door and/or cabin frame. I'll sleep on it, but I think it's doable.
