Brief Description:  Upper Panel Skin finess

First up, I measured the length of the braided fuel line that is currently partially installed in the fuel system. I previously installed the bulkhead conenction for the fuel line, so this task was to determine exactly where I should cut the line to allow a fitting to be put on for connection to the bulkhead.

Next, spent time deburring parts - the backside of the upper panel cover, along with the 4 L angles I installed the other night. Glad I did - I found 3 holes #40 that I never drilled up to the #30 size. I re-cleco'd the part to the underside of the upper panel and ran the drill thru them.

I then enlarged the "V" notch cut for the upper cabin frame to have clearance for it to be bolted to the firewall. Filed smooth and evened everything out.

Lastly, when I painted the upper panel cover, I *knew* that part of it will be inside the cabin, with the remainder outside. Naturally, this part should be painted red to match the rest of the fuselage. However, the panel paint I used is a textured product, so I scraped, sanded, scraped some more to get it smooth. Still not 100% done. Easy, but tedious. In the pic below, the red line notes the separation point.
