Brief Description:  Drill Nose Gear Fork for Axle

I had previously drilled the two nose strut forks while clamped together. Separated and deburred the holes. Marked the hole for the axle which is 3/4" in size. Hole is 25mm from bottom and 25mm from back side of fork.

Pilot drilled holes. Set up drill press because it's best if the holes are linearly straight. Used a step-drill to take the hole up to size. The step drill I had that would go to 3/4" had a dull spot at the 1/2" mark, so had to switch-out with another step drill (that didn't go to 3/4") for a few steps, then back to the main drill for the remainder up to 3/4" Only issue was that the thickness of the metal was thicker than the individual steps on the drill, so I had to stop short.

Fortunately, the holes were able to be finalized using an edge deburring tool. Axle fits snug and square. Removed part number labels.

Spent time re-aligning cables in aft fuselage. 3 cables, two longeron channels in which to put them. It's generally bad design to put an RF cable next to non-RF wires (especially data lines), so grouped the ELT cable next to the trim tab servo control wires on one side and left the comm antenna wire by itself in the other channel. Will tack in place with silicone sealant.
