It's been awhile; mostly since we were in KS for 9 days, plus I've been ordering stuff to paint the fuselage.
I decided to roll-on my paint, using Interlux Brightside paint. I decided I needed something low to the ground that could be maneuvered to allow access. I may have already posted this part before.
Anyway, today I was cleaning off stuff from the work-side of the bench to allow sliding the fuselage onto the roller stands. I then moved the fuselage (with help) onto the rollers.
Spent some time using laquer thinner to remove all of the mill marks/stampings from the metal. Fortunately, 1/2 the pieces had the marks on the inside, so minimal removal required there!
Rotated the fuselage so the bottom was facing sideways to allow removal of the mill marks.
Next step: washing with Dawn in prep for alumiprep & alodine
