Brief Description: Final riveting forward fuselage
A lot done today; I may overlook some of the smaller details.
Basically, just a bunch of riveting.
Flipped the fwd fuse on its side and riveted the underside of the forward seat support.
Riveted the aft sliding seat support to the side vertical channels, and cleco'd the bottom rail to the fuse skin and landing gear channel. Flipped back onto its side and riveted the rear sliding seat supports. Flipped back to right side up.
Cleco'd the forward sliding seat supports into place; riveted the L-angles to the foward fuse side panels to allow the cleco's to get out of the way. Flipped back on its side; riveted the forward sliding seat supports.
Crawled under the front edge to rivet the brake pedal supports to the forward floor skin / channel.
Used the hand riveted to rivet the brake pedal channel and foot rest channel to the forward fuselage skin. Since these channels had angles right next to the rivet hole, the pneumatic riveter would not work. Riveted the remaining rivets for the lower floor stiffener that goes fore/aft; flipped onto its side to accomplish this.
Riveted the forward fuselage side L-angles and forward angles together. Cleco'd the firewall in place to rivet the angle assemblies to be riveted to the inner forward skin, but then realized I'd have to remove them to fit the fuselage underneath the angles when the firewall is permanently installed.
