Brief Description:  Misc aft fuselage cleanup tasks

Most of the work was done without touching the plane itself.

Since I've used a lot of the parts already, the remaining parts were still in two 1x1x4' boxes - one for steel / welded parts, and the other for the remainnig aluminum and misc parts. Since I'm reaching the stage where I'll be searching for several small parts, I sorted these into a separate box for ease of retrieval. These are things like the door lock cylinders, 1x1" teflon bearing surfaces, bearing blocks for rudder pedals, control tubes, etc.

I'm also going to take several of the steel parts to a local powder-coating firm on Monday, so I wanted them in a separte box for ease of carry.

Actual work consisted of extensive deburring on 4 thick reinforcement plates - two for the upper front edge of the aft fuselage that also aerve as the mating point for the tubular cabin frame. The other two were large triangular gussets for the front lower sides of the aft fuselage. These don't get riveted at this moment since other mating parts will be involved.

Finally I riveted most of the lower edge rivets on each side of the aft fuselage. Again, the front-most and rear-most areas have to wait for additional parts to be attached before riveting.
