Brief Description: Work lower skin L-angles, mount tiedown ring, inst
Installed rivets in upper skin L-angle holes; riveted. Removed upper skin and stored on wing rack.
Flipped skeleton upside down. Laid bottom skin in place and cleco'd to square-up the skin/skeleton.
Fabricated root rib reinforcement and riveted in place.
Marked bottom skin L-angles centerline; held under skin and drilled-thru on marked line. Drilled remaining holes for that L-angle (#40). Updrilled to #30, final size. Flipped wing over so it was right-side up to verify that no L-angles were hanging up on wing ribs. Several were, so removed those angles and trimmed the ends to fit. Deburred the angles and the skin.
Flipped wing back to upside down position, remounted angles, and riveted.
Riveted tie-down ring in place and bolted the strut fitting into place for fabricating the support angles for it.
