Installed the aft root skin; positioned and up-drilled to #20 for A5 rivets. Noticed that there is supposed to be a stiffener in the middle like the other skin sections, however the way the angle is positioned this angle won't be able to be riveted until the skin is after wing installation. The angle slips under the rib, so if riveted to the skin now it will be impossible to lay the skin on the rib.
Worked quite a bit on the root nose skin. Crimped the root skin attach angle to fit the curve of the wing nose. A lot of builders have had issues getting a good fit of this skin; got it pretty close, but will do some additional finessing tomorrow. I noticed a small stress crack appeared on the underside; I'll have to think about this issue; may just trim the affected portion out of the skin; plenty of room. We'll see.
