Brief Description:  Debur, Final Fit, Final Cleco, some Manual Rivetin

It's amazing how much time swells when ya think something will only take an hour to an hour and a half....

Deburred all parts that were taken apart last night. Started re-assembling as final cleco'ing in prep for riveting.

Manually riveted the upper and lower control arms to provide stiffness to the overall assembly. There is a certain sequence to riveting since some parts block others or severely restrict access for riveting. As an example, the "stuff" inside the wing, namely the horn doubler angle gets riveted to the horn doubler, and the center cross-channel gets riveted to the numbers 4 and 5 ribs, since while it *can* be done, it's much easier on the bench. The black cleco's in pics 2 & 3 below have to be replaced with 5 special stainless steel rivets for additional strength.

Also drilled the ends of both the elevator-to-horizontal stab hinge as well as both ends of the trim tab hinge. These have .032 wire looped in the holes and twisted to prevent the hinge pins from walking out. Which would be bad.
