Brief Description: Debur spar; remove wrong rivet, test fit hinge to
VERY cold weather here for TX; 11 deg in the AM, barely above freezing in the afternoon (stayed in 20's yesterday). So...not alot has been done lately.
Today WX was decent so we were running errands. At the end of the day, my wife had to run some other errands, it was glorious outside (if cold), and no wind. I figured I'd take a little bit of time and a) drill-out the rivet I pulled from the wrong side of the vertical fin, b) debur the vertical fin spar, anc c) test-fit the spar/hinge subassembly to the previously-completed rudder to ensure correct clearance at the top of the fin.Spec sayd 5 to 8 mm gap, and I'm at 6mm, so I'm on the better side of allowable clearance. Nice tight fit.
