Brief Description: Aileron bracket service bulletin
Decided to remove the inner aileron brackets to comply with SB 16-03-28. Vans recommends not removing the brackets unless there are cracks and requires an annnual inspection but you need to remove the aileron and trim a piece of the gap seal to check it annually and it seems to make more sense to fix it since it's all open now and done. No need to inspect annually or wait until cracks appear before fixing it. The old brackets come out cleanly with clean rivet holes so the fix should be no problem. Will finish it next session.
