Brief Description: Preparing left wing skin for assembly
Working on the top left skin while I wait for riveting help from the Mrs. (extra set of hands to hold bucking bar on the leading edge assembly nse rivets). The wing walk doublers go under the wing skin at the root and there is some match drilling required for the nut plates on the root rib. The inboard skin gets careful counter sinks in the areas where the doublers reside underneath. The plans say not to go over depth and in fact can be over up to .005 shallow since this area eventually gets the non skid tape covering after painting of the wings. Mine came out per plans and are flush to maybe +.002.
