Brief Description: FInish rear fuselage and hang tail
Finish rear fuseage by riveting on the center top skin. Back riveted the entire piece from inside with my wife outside with back rivet bar. Installed the static system - replaced the stock kit with one from Cleaveland Tools. For $39 it has much nicer components and leaves a much impoved looking system. Following this I moved to hanging the horizontal and vertican stabilizers on the fuselage. One big help is to buy some hardware store nuts for this mock up of the tail feathers to avoid using the lock nuts in the kit and saving them for final installation. Saves a lot of time and effort vs using the lock nuts for this prelimianary mock up and initial adjustment. Wing kit arrives tomorrow so I got really lucky with the timing here finishing up the tail kit today.
