The Spinner was one of those areas I had been dreading, specifically making the cutouts for the prop blades. First, I unpacked the prop and moved it to my worktable. I then went to work on the front and back spinner plates. The back spinner had a large area that needed to be trimmed away. That area is defined by the area on the doubler that has already been trimmed you simply trace the pattern onto the back plate and trim away. Of course this took longer than expected because I tend to trim short and file (or sand depending on the material) to final size. I then primed the two pieces so I could come back in a few days to rivet the back plate and doubler together. For the front plate, all I did was debur it and then bolted it to the prop hub and safety wired the bolts.
