Brief Description: Baffe seal templates and install
Created paper templates that I could use to cut out the baffle seals from a sheet of baffle seal material. I first determined the height by putting paperclips all around the baffles sticking straight up. I then put the cowl top on which pushed the paperclips down. Once I took the cowl back off the paperclips showed me the gap between the top of the baffles and the underside of the cowl. I then rough cut some paper templates, and attached them ot the baffles where I then trimmed them to shape. I then used the tempated to cutout copies from a roll of baffle seal material. Then I riveted the seals to the baffles and then went around sealing cracks with hi-temp RTV.
