Brief Description:  More priming prep

After retuning from my first visit to Osh, I felt reinvigorated and got back at it. Today I washed and treated the remaining tailcone parts for priming. These were the big pieces -- stiffeners, longerons, and skins. The problem is there's no easy way to wash, etch, and then treat thess pieces due to their size. In the end I covered my work table in plastic with some scrap boards under the plastic at the table edges to make a lip to keep the various liquids under control. First I washed everthing in Dawn which I did on saw horses outside. From this point on, everything was handled with gloves on to keep any oils off the metal. I then etched everything with the Sanchem 6100 Part C and rinsed in water. This was followed by brushing on the Sanchem 6100 parts A & B mixed together 1:1-- this is the conversion coating process. Everything was once again rinsed with water and allowed to dry.
