Today Bobbi Boucher (TC and RV-4 builder) from Chapter 186 paid me a visit to give me my initial TC visit. I really needed it for peace of mind since this is my first project and all of my sheet metal skills are self taught. We had a good discussion and she gave me lots of pointers. The important thing was she didn't find any major issues with my VS, HS, rudder, elevators, or the tailcone which is the only component not closed out. The biggest thing was a loose safety wire on a trim tab hinge pin. Needless to say, I was greatly releived that the visit went well -- time to press on!
