OK, previously I had drilled out the 1010 inboard rib rivets. I then replaced the rivets this time placing the factory heads against the rib flange. What a pain in the ass. The torque tube assembly really was in the way. I used my long offset universal head rivet set, but even with that I had to bend the rib far out of the way. Luckily I was able to get it done, but the rivets aren't as pretty. On the positive side the rib flange is now flat against the spar web. For the right side, I'm going to delay riveting on the torgqe tube to elimnate the interference. This will make riveting on the rib a non issue.
