Brief Description: Riveted on wing spar extensions
Riveted on the wing extensions. I tried to squeeze the first few, but the longeron yoke was just too small, so I had to buck all of the rivets. I was a little apprehensive at this prospect as I have not riveted in a year and a half. Anyway, it’s like riding a bike. I started off a little shaky and of the 18 rivets on the 1st splice set I needed to drill out 2 which I did without trouble and re-shot them. I quickly got back in the “groove” and finished the other 3 sets of plates without incident.
