Brief Description: Installed Cnter-bal rib, rolling leading edge
Rivet in the counter balance rib and riveted the skin to the spar. No big issues here, except I bucked more rivets that I needed too. It gave me some good practice, but I scratched the spar up in the process. So when I was done I broke out the primer and a small paint brush and did some batch touch-up work on the rudder and the VS since I had the paint open. Note: the AFS primer is not not very tough and can easily be scratched off.
I began the process of rolliong the leading edge and discovered I didn't have the right diameter pipe anywhere in the house. I went ahead anyway and I'm not pleased what so ever. A trip to Home Depot is in the offing. Also, trying to put a bend in the edge of the skin is a real problem. I totalty dorked that up causing more harm then good. If there's any place I'm really weak technique wise, this is it. I've got to figure that damn tool out before I really do some damage.
