I called Vans about my flub on drilling the trailing edge for the RH aileron. They agreed with me that the TE must be replaced. The slightly oblong holes in the lower skin are probably ok, but it was suggested I do a few test coupons with scrap to verify. Based on this feedback I ordered a new TE but not a skin.
Since I'm stopped waiting for parts I decided to see what I can do on the OB LE. I pulled a pair of W-1009-L/R ribs and marked them for notching. It was pretty late when I did this so I couldn't proceed with the actual cutting due to the noise.
