Brief Description: Tank Attach Bracket & Nutplates
Cut and deburred the T-1005 shims for the LH side, primed and installed the K1100-08D nutplates. Be sure you install these nutplates before you rivet the shim to the tank bracket. I didn't and had to drill out all of the rivets to remove the shim from the bracket.
The T-00006-L was cleaned and rattle can primed on the portion that is exterior to the fuel tank. Installed the VA-146 flange bearing. After priming I finished riveting the shim and nutplates together to complete the tank attach bracket subassembly.
The VA-112 drain valve flange and interfacing skin was cleaned, scuffed and cleaned again. I'm rapidly approaching the point where sealant is required for everything moving forward. I still have to dimple the skin, but I'm deferring that until I do a through cleaning of the IML and scuff the areas needing sealant.

I have a tendancy to forget to load the nutplate when I'm riveting nutplates. D'oh!
