Brief Description: Initial Assembly of RH Fuel Tank
Limited time to do anything today with all of the last minute year end activities. I put the LH skin in the cradle and decided to assemble the ribs to check the fit around the nose on the inboard and outboard ends as these will be needing sealant. If there were any significant gaps I could do some bending of the tabs to close them.
Everything fit well, but I discovered I hadn't checked the hole alignment on the inboard nose rib. I need to do some fluting on it. Good to discover that now instead of when it's gooped up with sealant.
The outboard rib also had some gaps at the forward tabs, but I can make some adjustments with the Knipex pliers.
