Brief Description:  Deburr and drill counterbalance

Finished countersinking and riveting the end ribs together. Deburred the end ribs and spar. Assembled the nose, ribs, counterbalance and spar for match drilling. It went much easier this time since I'd done it before. Even drilling the steel was easier because I pulled a brand new drill bit out.

Matched drilled the tube to the ribs and installed the screws and nuts. I tried to reassemble everything for the match drilling of the skins and tube, but I was having a great deal of trouble closing the skin. Something was off and I couldn't figure it out, so I stopped working for the evening. Better to attack the problem with a clear, rested mind another day.

No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't reassemble the skin. Good stopping point.
