Brief Description: Deburr and Clean Counterbalance
Just a short session today. I don't feel well in the mornings so I only did a few items later in the day. My deburring tools arrived today from McMaster-Carr so I started cleaning out the backside of the holes in the tube. They made things easier, but steel is still tough to work with. I managed to get a decent looking surface on the inside as best as I could tell. At least it looks good enough to hold the shop head of the pop rivets.
The inside was a mess with a mix of metal shavings and oil from the drilling. I wrapped some paper towels around a broom handle to make a really big Q-tip that worked well in cleaning the detritus. The end result inside looked very clean.
