The wing kit arrived today and I had a couple of friends (Jay and Victor) come by and help me get them set up in the garage. The smaller crate is actually the heaviest at 220 lbs and the other was 183 lbs. The plan was to get the smaller crate unpacked and inventoried, then move the larger crate to the tables so I could park the car inside.
The crates were undamaged this time and so far no damaged parts have been found. The hardware is contained in a bunch of small marked bags inside of a large bag. It took the most time to go through as we counted each bolt, washer, bearing, nutplate, etc. Some bags contained rivets so I just set those aside for now. There are some missing pieces of hardware, so I'll need to email Vans about it.
I cut up and disposed of the smaller crate. We put the remaining crate on the benches and called it a night.
