Spent nearly 2 hours removing protective platic from the door reinforcement / map pocket which had been soaking in kero for 5 - 6 days. Very difficult to remove.
Assembled door with catch mechanism and drilled out all holes to 1/8". Drilled 1/16" hole in the longer two rods for the split pin. Mistakenly placed rod guides at the door's edge rather than setting in 1/4". I can move the right one, but not the left (as viewed from inside) because of the position of the 1/16" hole for the split pin. Need to see how tightly the door fits.
