Brief Description: Bend the top (long) longerons - other prep work
Bent the 15 foot long top longerons. The get bent in two directions at two places I laid out some marks on the floor of the shop to use as a gauge so I could tell when they were bent sufficiently. I laid out the bend locations and directions, clamped the angles in the vice at the bend locations, aligned with the edge of the vise jaw, pulled on the angle to provide a preload and smacked the angle near the vise with a deadblow hammer. It took a few iterations but I was able to get the angles to the general shape and they should fit in place without significant preload. If not I'll do a little more adjusting.
I also fit the gussets in place which required radiusing one edge of each to fit into the radius the mating parts.
