Temporarily installed the copilot's seat to help me determine where to best drill the 7/8" access hole for the harness connection pass-through. While there, I closed the canopy to the taxi stops & vegged out in the cozy seat. I also tested the seat back positioning with regards to rudder, braking & control deflection. It looks like the middle of three hinge pin rows will work fine. Before moving on to the next task, I fired up the panel & played around with the avionics a bit. I can see that there's a good deal of calibration ahead for me.
Next I drilled the L&R 7/8" access holes, installed snap bushings & tested the harness location. In the end I was not happy with two legs of the harness. They were too short. Not wanting to stress any connection, I elected to lengthen the runs. Finished one of two today.
