Connecting the oil cooling system is an easy task provided you read the icp manual backwards i.e. starts with the thermostat before connecting all other parts of the oil cooler system. If not, you will find yourself short of tubing ,approx 0.5 m. Not a big deal but it's a nuisance waiting for a new delivery. Anyway, the oil system consists of an oil tank with an outlet connected to the cooler via a thermostate and then from the cooler, via the thermoste, to the oil pump. The oil escapes from the engine via a banjo fitting to the inlet of the oil tank. There is handy screw-on filter and a magnetic "tap" to clean up the oil. The lid of the oil tank should also have half a meter vent tube (8mm diam.). Not much to go wrong here provided you don't mix up the oil tank in- flow with the out- flow. To find an acceptable motor oil might be a problem though. Rotax recommends only a few. They are all motorcycle oils such as Shell Advance VSX 4T and standard air plane oil is not recommended due to the Rotax engine gearbox.
