Davids Web Site
Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. I am building a Van's Aircraft RV-8 with my son Parker, a third year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Utah. Unfortunately his curriculum and my work schedule have limited the amount of time we have actually been able to build together. However we are both very enthusiastic about the project. I have always been interested in general aviation and building an airplane has been something I have been considering for a number of years. My aviation background is very diverse, earning my private, instrument and commercial at and early age. Entered the Air Force after college flying KC-135s, and now have 24 years with an airline, currently a captain flying the 737. With all the kids out of the house, I decided it was time to pull the trigger and let the endeavor begin.
