Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site.
After the completion of my Vans RV4, two things happened.
I found that:
1). I got "workshop withdrawal", a pretty serious affliction with only one known remedy, and
2). I also found that trying to carry the leader of the opposition and dog to visit the Outback with a suitable amount of camping gear, (she needs a shower & toilet)
something the RV4 just wasn't up to.(even though, it does do great aerobatics)
So I searched until I thought that I had found the answer, a machine that should by all accounts solve one problem for a year or so, and the other indefinitely.
My experience with BushCaddy hasn't been all good, as a matter of fact it has been very disappointing. No builder support at all, many broken promises and the discovery that claimed wing G loadings are only theoretical and that no actual wing load tests were ever done.
This rather alarming revelation has been confirmed by the original designer and kit supplier. A copy of his statement to that effect can be seen on the Yahoo 'FlyBushcaddy' forum.
Through this web site, I hope I maybe of some assistance to other Bushcaddy builders, who maybe like me, have been somewhat let down by the kit supplier.
Please feel free to contact me through the link on this site. Additional information maybe viewed on the Yahoo 'FlyBushcaddy' forum.
