Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. Wondering why a 80 year old guy would build a plane? Go back to the start of this log and you may discover the answer. I am attempting to make a detailed record of my building and flying this aircraft. I have made many changes as I build, always looking for new stuff to install or make it a better airplane. I am very excited with the choices I have made, and am sure I will be very happy with the end result.
Why Air Force One? Yes, it is registered with the FAA as Air Force 1. I just wanted to be distinctive and different, and when people told me I could not do that, I did it just to prove that I can. Not convinced? Look back in the log and you can see the official FAA registration of this project.
In addition to being a licensed pilot, I am also an A & P, which is the FAA license to officially work on airplanes. This has been one fun project from the start!
